Whether you tap or slide depends on whether your screen is locked or not .

This is Apple Support’s advice, which includes the suggestion to set Siri up so you can answer (or decline) calls by voice

I have an iPhone SE, When I get an incoming call (I've just called myself to check, and there seems to be 2 types I get!)

- one is the red and green button phone buttons, so press the green one to answer and red to go decline;

- the other is the green phone button a on white background which you swipe right

No idea why they were different either, ring myself twice from my Alexa! Weird ....

Maybe take it back to shop if it continues? Good luck!

Should you perhaps click or press on the incoming call green button and swipe to the right

Why can I rarely accept incoming calls on my fairly new iPhone SE ? There's no swipe option as with my old phone, but a red or green onscreen button to click, but when I click on it nothing happens and eventually I miss the call and have to phone them back.

Why is it not registering that I'm accepting the call?
