How do report a scam to Facebook?

Obviously I googled my question but couldn't even follow instruction no 1 which was to click on the '-' under the profile picture. There is no '-' under any of the profile photos as far as I can see.

The scam purported to come from my cousin and said it was from Lions International and urged me to click a link to get some money!

So I phoned my cousin and it wasn't her.

I went back to the computer and tried to report the scam again. I followed Google's instructions and opened the sham message again (I didn't click the link) and clicked the profile pic and blocked it.

I think I've just blocked my cousin.

I should change my Facebook password too - I don't even know how to do that!

I'm 84 - HELP

I always thought that you click on the three dots in the top right of the post. When you do that, a list pops up, one of which is report this.
I've reported scam looking advertising before, and that is what I did.

Sorry reply sent before I had finished. I misunderstood your question as I thought you were in emails.
If you are in Facebook click the three lines at top right hand.
Click settings.
Under Accounts chose Password and settings.
Under Log In chose Password.
First put in your current Password.
Then put in your new one.
They will ask you to repeat that.
Then click update.
Good luck hope this helps.
