BBC Sounds: can no longer access on my Apple ipad

I listen to BBC Sounds podcasts all the time but can no longer access them on my iPad. It says it’s playing but nothing happens. I can watch things on iplayer. Everything was ok a few days ago and I’m not aware of changing anything. I’m a bit bereft!

Hi. I had the same problem on my i phone. I updated the app but it still didn’t work, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it now works. You may have done this already though. Hope you get it sorted.

I’m not very technical so I haven’t done that. I started listening to non BBC podcasts with an Apple app so I’m wondering if that’s caused it.

Oh. I seem to now have an Apple App for it. No idea how I did it, though. Or if it’s free confused
