Echo dot.

I'm considering buying one and have seen a Black Friday deal. I'm not very savvy about technology and have no youngsters around for help and advice. How easy are they to set up and do I need to buy anything else apart from the echo dot speaker? I have a desktop computer and an android tablet. Any advice would be much appreciated.

They are very easy to set up they find the WiFi and connect you download an app to control this. If you have Amazon prime you get a good choice of music and radio stations but not a lot if you don’t have prime so I find it worth paying for

I have two echo , one with a screen, can download photos to that one, and a dot in my bedroom. Is very easy to set up, amazing for being able to chose what music you want to listen too, weather, recipes , shopping lists, reminders, allsorts of fun, and I find it handy for turning on lights remotely when coming home, or you can program it. Obviously need special bulbs for that.

If you have Amazon Prime you will get more out of your device.
