Yes it's easy to switch as others have said.

Pay as you go is no longer popular as you can get rolling monthly contracts for around a fiver. No need to be topping up and you are not tied in for a length of time.

I am with Tescomobile ‘pay as you go’. I put in £30 and it lasts me about 3-4 months. I use WhatsApp most of the time, so no charges.

I’ve been with every provider going. It’s simple. I’m the same with banks.

Thanks for that. I have had the same mobile provider since I got a mobile phone but now is the time to change.
Every pound counts at the moment.

Once you have decided who you want to switch to, get a PAC code (Porting Authority Code) from your current provider and give it to your new one. They will handle the transfer which should be seamless. Best not to do it over a weekend. Transfer should happen next day.

This is helpful:

Thinking about changing providers, am out of contract and there are some good deals around.
It’s a SIM only deal.
I want to keep my existing number and think it looks easy??
Have any of you done this? Is there any disruption to using your phone.
What is your advise as to the easiest way to do this?
Thanks in advance.
