Yes, just plug it into the wall socket, go on your phone, click the Alexa App, click on devices and follow the instructions. It just means pairing your Alexa to the wifi in the hotel (which you will probably need a password for unless it is a general wi-fi,) but be aware, you can get hacked when you use your phone when it is paired to general wi-fi systems in hotels, cafes etc Whenever I go out I never, ever use a general wi-fi system, I turn my wi fi off and use my mobile data (which is free to me).

Well Pammy we are away for a few days of ‘soggy’ holiday but the upside is we, like you, now have our trusty Alexa Echo playing merrily away 👍

Thanks Pammy 👍

Hi NanKate I always take Alexa with me when I go away.
I connect to the WiFi or to my phones Internet os a hotspot. I do have unlimited contract.

Many thanks Petra very useful. 👍

JaxJacky I do in fact send the music/radio from my Smartphone to my hearing aids which is really helpful, however when DH is with me he likes to hear music in our hotel room too.

A simple search found the information needed.

Perhaps you could get the music on your phone NanKate?

I would welcome a holiday without Alexa. I live in a granny annexe adjoining my youngest daughter and her family home. These devices are all over the place. The only time it made me laugh was when a school friend called Alexa came to play and have tea and every time her name was called this infernal machine would burst into life.

Yes sodapop. I have bad tinnitus and I find it helps me to have Spa Music in the background. Silence is my form of Hell 🥺

Seriously ?

When we go on holiday we miss not having Alexa available. Is there anyway we can take one of our Alexa devices and link them up to the WiFi in our room please ?
