Anyone having problems with Outlook?

I have an email account through Outlook. and can normally access it on my laptop and my mobile.

For no apparent reason I cannot receive or send any emails on my laptop but I can on my mobile.

I've tried countless time to enter my password today on my laptop but seemingly it is not correct - I know it is - but my mobile is functioning just fine.

Please help before I despatch my computer to the scrap heap!

You could try deleting your account on the laptop and then adding it back in, using the login details that your phone uses. If that doesn't work, then you might have to contact your email provider for help?

Same problem. Fine on phone and iPad. iPad and phone are supposed to be synced to laptop, so if I delete account on laptop, will it mess up iPad and phone? I am technologically illiterate, so scared of trying something which might eliminate what I already have.

I’m the opposite - emails fine on the desktop, but not being received on my iPhone.

Thank you all for your comments - I will try deleting it from my laptop and re-installing it. I have to confess to being a bit of a technophobe and I am scared of messing stuff up.

Are you with "Three" as I had this problem a few days ago and it turned out that 3G had been switched off. I had to reset my phone and all is find now. I contacted the help desk and was talked through the reset procedure.
