Fitbit saying it has synched but the time is still over two hours incorrect.

I have had three fitbits and have synched them before with the app. Today I charged up my Inspire 3. The time then showed is about an hour and three quarters ahead of actual time . After putting the Fitbit next to my iPad with the Fitbit connected to the charger it eventually asks me if I wish to pair it. I press yes. Later it says it was synched awhile ago today but it is still giving me the same incorrect time and date. The date had been out for awhile but I had ignored that. Well don’t feel inclined to buy another as it has come at a time where I have other financial claims on it. All I want is a correct time which can be seen in the dark and step counting. Has anyone had a similar problem or changed to something more reliable? Grateful for any input.

Never mind. The above attempt at synching was done mid morning and left for about 4 hours. Said it was synched but time was well out. Put it aside and as going to bed last night I see the date and time are now correct☹️🤔😏

Glad it's sorted itself out. I was going to reply to you but realised I wouldn't be much help.

My problem was that the Fitbit showed the right time but the times the app on my phone showed for things happening were different - so not the same problem as you had. Secondly, I couldn't remember what I'd done to put it right!

Technology is wonderful when it works, isn't it?!

Septimia you are so right. It is a mystery🤨. Seems my Fitbit is a law unto itself. Thank you for replying..

My Fitbit started to play up towards the end of last year. Showing the wrong time after charging, and needing to be ‘tapped’ to see the display.
I was convinced that they had done an update to mess with it ahead of Christmas, trying to get sales!
It’s still doing it, but I can live with it.
