Eventually tech wears out It’s not because it has actually worn out it’s just not compatible with the new tech.

We have a Thing on the TV, NotSpaghetti, and it has alsways worked perfectly well, but this seems to be a major problem that Google is having with Chromcast at the moment. Apparently it will take days, or even weeks, to fix! Technology, eh?

Perhaps you could fit a firestick or roku?
We had a roku with ours successfully for years.

It wasn't expensive.
We've only had this "new" TV a year or so.

Our TV is very old and so is not smart, so no apps. Maybe that's why nobody else has said that they have the same problem - we're just behind the times (again)!

No sorry, I don't cast these because they are already on my TV as apps.

Someone may do...

Is anyone else having trouble with this? Apparently Google are aware of a problem with Chromecast and are advising people not to try to reset anything, but they don't seem to be able to do anything about fixing it so far.
