System on line, order medication and make appointments

For the past 7 years I have successfully used System on line to order medication, get test results, etc with no problems. When I changed practices 2 years ago I had no problem, same name and password. Trying to log on 2 days ago I discovered that name, password etc details had been removed and I had to re enter them, however this did not open the site. I tried several times but still unable to connect to system on line. Any one else had this problem, if so, how did you resolve it.

Ours now uses the nhs app for such things. Have a look on your practice website to see if theyve done the same. We now have to log in via nhs site.

Yeovil used to order prescriptions there, mow have to use NHS app.

I use the NHS app too it works fine.
Can I just ask as I’m moving house can I still get my meds via the NHS app to a new pharmacy in a different town? Do I need to be registered to a new GP to do that?

I was on holiday and ran out of meds, I used the app and had it sent to a pharmacy there. The app I use is MyGP, i dont know if that is different.

This is what USED to be the case when i worked in primary care before retiring.

If your new house isn't in the catchment area of your present GP surgery then you will have to register with a new GP.

You are allowed to request prescriptions from old surgery for one month until the switchover to new surgery

Hopefully still the same
