Instagram help please.

Don't think so, the poster dictates the speed. It would be best to look on their website where you might be able to download it and you can at least stop it.

We purchased something with online instructions, it had no pause or rewind and had LOUD music, could hardly hear the instructions. After three times I did some research and found a written manual.

It's very frustrating - I'm trying to watch what a sewing machine is doing at top speed whilst also reading captions! Impossible

If you touch a video to open it and then hold your finger on it, it will pause.Lift your finger and it will continue. You can rewind by finding the play line at the bottom.
Sometimes there is text over or your finger is in the way and it goes too fast. As others say there is often a link in the posters profile or with the video which may help.

If it’s on insta is more than likely on YouTube. These videos are usually on all the platforms.

Never used to be able to do this but I have just tried and you can stop the video by touching. Can't see how to rewind as there is no play line on the ones I looked at. They change things all the time and though I post several times a week for our business I have trouble keeping up.

There are videos on You Tube, showing how to do this.

Sorry don't use Instagram. Loads of sewing videos on YouTube and you can slow them down easily. If you go to the website for the Instagrammer they will probably show their YouTube channel name.

Unless there is an Youtube page of the blogger (with proper videos and not Short, as Shorts can't be slowed down as well), you can try to download the video from their account to your device (when you click the Share menu there would be a downloading button) and then make it slower using a video editing software like Clipify on your PC. But there is too much hustle tbh, finding a Youtube page with same videos or written materials would probably be faster, unless you want to slow down this specific Instagram video.
