I rarely use my mobile phone ( use my iPad for everything) but am having to use it more and more. I know Apple iPads are quite secure but my phone isn’t. What security should I get? I wanted to get an iPhone but they’re so expensive. I’m such a technophobe and it’s making life very difficult! So frustrated with myself.

Why not buy a second hand iPhone, they work exactly the same as your iPad, and you can message on either device as they operate in synch. It really is worth it, makes life much easier.

I was planning to do so a while back. The phone I’ve got is quite good, though. I’m just a bit overwhelmed with technical stuff these days!

Like Casdon suggested - second hand iphone is the answer - I got mine from ebay 3 years ago - it’s an iphone7 - I think I paid £170 - still going strong -

I am thinking of buying a newer model although the iphone7 is good enough - I just fancy a change

Sorry it’s an iPhone XR - iphone7 was my old phone 😂

I turned on all the security settings on my phone. Go to settings and security and you can turn on or off the security settings you need.
I've never felt the need for anything else. There are security apps available but they all charge a monthly fee.
