I have long since tried to not use more technology than I have to.

Far easier in my opinion, to use paper and telephone!
Well for me anyway. And in most cases[for me].

I have more technical ability than a lot of much younger people.
I am 62 and have worked with technology for years.
It’s amazing how many young people have patronised me, recently we had a guy installing a new TV, he said he would stay and teach me how to set up all the apps!
My husband was sniggering in the next room.

Well I'm glad to read that as I've been fed up a number
of times with trying to open a site with which I had no
problem before.
I've tried to use a new password and often even the new
Google password is rejected.

Yes, it is more difficult now, but that is probably because of hackers.

I'm sure I could just browse sites such as Etsy etc but now it demands to know answers before allowing access.

As for banks, the NHS etc, just forget it.
