iOS 26.2 has anyone downloaded it on iPhone 12?

Looking for updates and discovered that instead of iOS 18.7 the only offer is iOS 26. The screen will be liquid. Not sure I want that. Looked into this and apparently you can reduce the liquid screen but not turn it off. This and other things drain the battery. Has anyone got it who wishes they hadn’t downloaded it? Or is anyone pleased with it!

I’ve got it on my iPhone 11, it’s been fine but the effect on the screen is really not an improvement.

I have this update, I haven’t noticed any significant change in battery life.

If you are concerned switch your battery to power saving mode after the update.

Also do photographs look as good and is the print as easily read .Wonderif iOS 26.3 will appear with an option to turn off the liquid screen..

I have downloaded it to my iPhone 12 mini, and won’t be downloading it anytime soon to my iPad mini.

There was a grumbling thread on Mumsnet about it a while ago.

And delete apps that arnt used. They are collecting info 24hrs a day= draining batteries.

I have this update on both my iphone13 and my iPad mini. I don’t like it but am getting used to it.
