If any one gets this company coming up mentioning you have viruses or DANzGER YOUR COMPUTER IS NOW DAMAGED ignore the company. I looked them up where they have a lot of negative reviews.

Do you mean the antivirus firm McAfee?

I think McAfee is a reputable company. Scammers are just using their name. There are several alerts in my spam every day.

Every computer bod I have ever talked with has said give McAfee a miss.

On Trustpilot 87% of reviews were one star.

I have McAfee and haven't had a problem with it. However, I do get endless fake scam e-mails saying they're from McAfee when they are clearly scams because they're going to an old e-mail address, not the one I use with McAfee.

Any scam e-mails should get directed to your spam folder. I have had hundreds of scam e-mails after entering one of those Omaze house competitions about three years ago. So I don't recommend entering that.

I have McAfee and so far, no problems or scam emails.
It will be interesting to see if I now start to get them. Just how secure is my info on GransNet.

You won't get any scam e-mails through using Gransnet. But if you give your e-mail address to a competition I think they sell it on to the whole world. The scam e-mails I'm getting are from entering the Omaze house competition. They are nothing to do with McAfee, they just pretend they are, like scammers pretending to be your bank.

Mcfee and McAfee are not the same thing.

I've had McAfee protection for years and no issues.
