Do you have a landline? Sometimes they can be sent there, if that option is offered.

Or, are you able to phone your surgery? There may be someone there whose job is to help people with tech issues. We have someone at our surgery.

Thank you everyone. I went into phone to check my junk folder and there it was in messages. It wasn’t before but I had while desperately scrolling through settings found something I didn’t understand about converting something into text which I turned on. It definitely wasn’t there before and the usual notification was missing. Also it was the only one despite repeated tries today and a couple of days ago. So don’t know but I have asked the app to remember me. Thank you everyone for answering.

Too true Retroladytyping. I am so relieved. I have had so many health issues plus ordering prescriptions, test results and messages from the surgery the thought of not having the app really upset me. Still not sure how it resolved itself. The first thing I did was to look in messages and there was nothing. So it remains a mystery. Thank you for posting.
