Using a laptop when you’re partially sighted.

I have advanced glaucoma and whilst I have fairly clear sight in the centre of my eye it’s getting weaker. I manage quite well with my laptop and enjoy putting together photo books for the family and helping friends with PowerPoint presentations for their U3A groups. I will soon have to get a new one and I’m wondering if anyone can recommend one that has a really good visual display. I use all the accessibility tools on my current one but find that I have to put my nose to the screen at times when trying to read the toolbars. Any advice will be gratefully received.
