Phoenix I cannot say I did really cannot drink as much as would have liked!! made mistake of mixing red wine and rose one night and plus pre dinner g and t and about 4 bacardis mmmm was bit queasy next day!!

thanks nina we too have concierge stuff, going to Littlecote house in 4 weeks, and just booked an October one at Thoresby, a do love going away!!

DH and I often have short breaks at Warner hotels. Have just booked for July at Corton coastal. Regular customers so have concierge discount card. Gives us privilege check in discounts accomadation, plus cheap drinks etc.

We'll be driving from Cambridge to Calstock near Plymouth where my sister lives - that's as far as we've got with the planning! However retired now so can take our time and go where we like

celeb Glad you had a good time. I often think I enjoy going away for a weekend or short break just as much a longer holiday.
We're going to London at the beginning of March to meet up with friends, then onto Cornwall to see my sister and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm hoping the camellias and magnolias will be out in all their glory!
