Yes Galen we could have but was ok being with people 6 nice no but 6pm was too early and we liked celebrity for some things not others.
Overall ok just prefer smaller ships

It's nice isn't it. It's not one I'd do again. On princess a d Cunard you can request the number on a table including 2! I prefer 6-8 as I quite enjoy meeting new people for a short time.

I must admit I don't fancy big cruises (though love small river ones) as I find the sharing a table really spoils my holiday. It seems to me that when you get to the granny stage in life the two main topics of conversation among people who have just met are ailments and the doings of children and grandchildren. I don't assume people are interested in my ailments or my grandchildren so would rather sit and eat with OH and chat about things that interest us. It must be very difficult celebgran when everyone is discussing grandchildren. It is difficult to discuss things close to your heart with people you have met on a superficial basis and will probably never meet again. Glad you enjoyed the cruise though.
