What to do at the airport?

I am sitting in the airport lounge, I've bought some face cream, had a coffee and a bun, now what do I do?

Does anyone else find airports boring? I don't mind the flying but it is all the hanging around. We allow extra time for road works, slow check in etc and then find it all goes so well we just have to hang around for ages.

Should I get scrabble on my computer? confused

Read newspaper/magazine/book. After reading newspaper, do crossword.
Yes, Scrabble is a great way of passing time. Take Nintendo DS machine.
Or Kindle.
People watching can be interesting.
I've run out of ideas now.

Many years ago I had to go to Heathrow to pick up my kids from a holiday with the father in the US. The plane was late. However, I had a wonderful time watching people coming and going. Two Jumbo Jets had just arrived from India and the passengers were greeted with what appeared to be an entire village. The actress Sarah Miles was waiting for her daughter to arrive and we had a very long conversation about airports. It wasn't until I was on my way home that I realised who she was!
As henetha said if you have a DS take it with you - mine goes everywhere with me when I'm travelling.

"Whirly word" is a good app for time passing too. And I have a crossword app which downloads the Independent crosswords every day - think I may still be looking at February's.

We are in a lounge and it is not very busy so not many people to watch! Reading is somehow difficult as I can't seem to switch all the other 'stuff' off! Daft because I can easily read on the plane even before take off!

I've looked at the free paper but mostly it is old news heard already on the radio.

Had another coffee and some fruit salad, don't think I should eat anything else!

Maybe I should get a DS for next time? No fun playing scrabble against the 'puter and DH won't play! He cares what people think when they are 'people watching'!

Off to stay with Ds and Dil for a few days then bringing her mum back to stay with us. Lovely family.

Think I'll go to the loo again.......................
