I have just returned (1 week ago) from my first cruise and enjoyed every moment. I got used to the motion of the ship easily, but now when back home still havn't got my Land Legs back, feels like i'm drunk, and dizzy. My question is can anyone advise how long this lasts confused

That happened to me after a canal boat holiday. Could you take travel sickness tablets for a while? Or do eye exercises?

I used to get it but it never lasted more than a day. It's usually made worse by tiredness (and too much alcoholwine hic!

It usually wears of gradually with me, but can take several days. Tiredness certainly makes it worse - and jet lag. Where was your cruise Suzz?

I felt woozy with motion sickness on a canal based Hotel where I had a day conference. It got really bad when people first got on and when they started moving about at a coffee break. I was not the only one.
It seems to run in my family my late Mum and sister suffer as well.
