Does anyone know about applying for a visa to visit India. Not going till next year but would like to know how to go about it. Thanks.

Not with that company , we went with Riviera Travel. I would imagine the tours are similar. You can compare on line. Best holiday / experience ever.

I did the Golden Triangle plus Shimla extension with Riviera Travel last year - highly recommended!

We got our visa online through the official government website - it was half the price of the usual route

Riverwalk - that link looks helpful - is it just for organised tours?
Our son lives in India,. I've visited twice in the last 10 years and it has become more and more complicated to get a visa. He's coming over to UK personally next month to renew his (work) visa so I'm meeting him there. He has to leave his passport at the embassy and have an interview then go back 3 days later for it.
