Shuttle

We will be using the channel tunnel shuttle soon with my OH who has PD and heart problems. We will have family with us.

He is fretting about whether there will be a loo fairly accessible on the shuttle. And I am concerned that his high levels of anxiety will cause him to panic on the shuttle, which in turn will set off the heart arythmia. But frankly I think I will just dope him up for the journey!

Any advice from shuttle users? Thanks.

From what I remember in every coach (or every other)
You are certainly never far from one.

There are toilets but I would go with plan B anyway grin

I think it is every third carriage, but unless you are in a toilet carriage you definitely have to make your way through two sets of doors on a moving train to get to a fairly small loo. I just checked the website and it seems there are no disabled toilets on the train.
I would make discreet arrangements in the car!

We do have a urine bottle with lid in the car, which my DGC think is a great laugh!

It is only a short journey and there are facilities at the terminals at both ends.

You should ring on the day though as they have had long queues in the hot weather.
