Stayed in Travelodge, (Waterside), and found it very good. Nice location by canal and reasonably priced.

Look out for the angels climbing up the ladders on Bath Abbey.

Bath is a lovely city, I haven't been to thermal baths, but the Roman ones are worth a visit. We were there back in the Autumn stayed at Bath Spa Hotel, very nice. There are lots of good hotels in Bath, it's much visited by tourists, almost as popular as London I believe.

Have a great time there.

Lovely city. We usually stay at the Hilton. Looks very ugly outside, but fine inside and a view of Poultney Bridge from the dining room. Very central, next door to a car park too. Ugly but convenient. Recommend the Big Bus tour, good to get your bearings and the second day driving in hills outside Bath is interesting too. I tried the spa but as I went on my own, DH not a spa man☹️, I found it a bit underwhelming. The view from the pool on the roof is amazing though and well worth going for that alone. Enjoy!

I’ve been to Thermae Bath Spa and enjoyed it very much.

My son and partner stayed there about six months ago and had the most fabulous time. Lots of relaxing!
No advice but hope you enjoy yourselves.
