Out on a short journey this morning and yes, you've guessed it, they're at it again! Although not quite so many today! ??????

My first thought was exactly what you are talking about so you can tell that I've been experiencing the same, though not quite as many!

SueDonim Sat 08-Feb-20 22:19:50

I too thought this was going to be about garments, along the lines of those primates (baboons??) whose bottoms light up in pink when they’re feeling frisky. grin

I was expecting some kind of lit up jumper too!

We were about to cross the road the other day at pedestrian lights when a car whizzed through the red light. Luckily we always make sure the traffic has stopped before we cross otherwise I would be in hospital now (or the morgue!)

I thought it was going to be about the red dye washing out of jumpers

I remember when my friend got in a panic when she jumped a red light once by mistake and expected a knock on the door and a night in the cells.

I agree absent. I’m also getting increasingly annoyed by red light jumpers at the three sets of roadworks on my way to work - none of us like sitting at them but the light jumpers cause mayhem and stop the rest of us getting our turn.

OTOH, I also get annoyed with drivers at busy junctions who only seem to think about putting their car into gear once the lights have gone green. Amber means get ready, green means go - not ‘ooh it’s green, ooh I wasn’t expecting that, right, now where’s first gear’. An extra 2 or 3 cars could have got through in that time.

I find myself getting increased irritated by other drivers these days blush

I also came on intrigued about suggestive sweaters

As a pedestrian, what I find particularly annoying is drivers who seem to think that there is an unwritten rule that if yours is the first car at the traffic light immediately after it has turned red you can just carry on through, even though you have had plenty of warning.

I came on here to tell you where I’d recently bought a lightweight red jumper! (It was Next, in case anyone’s looking for one)

Yes, red light jumpers are a menace and a danger to others. If I was ruler of the world I would put cameras on every set of traffic lights to catch people who do this.

Urmstongran Sat 08-Feb-20 18:33:41

I thought ‘sexy jumpers’!

Calendargirl Sat 08-Feb-20 18:25:42

I too thought the post was about jumpers that lit up, a sort of Christmas jumper.

☺️☺️☺️☺️ Oh, GNetters, what a saucy crowd you are! You made me blush ???

TrendyNannie6 Sat 08-Feb-20 18:14:32

Oh I thought it was a post about norty jumpers

bikergran Sat 08-Feb-20 18:11:41

Yes agree with drivers that jump red lights...why cant they catch them on cameras like they do with speed camerashmm

Remember the slogan "Don't be and Amber gamber" or something like that.

grannysue05 Sat 08-Feb-20 18:03:42

I thought that you might be planning a visit to Amsterdam. blush

Juliet27 Sat 08-Feb-20 17:57:29

How innocent am I...I thought it would be about lightweight jumpers losing colour in the wash!

Oopsminty Sat 08-Feb-20 17:53:30

I had to visit a large store across town this morning, the only way to get there was around the ring road involving lots of sets of traffic lights. Why, oh why do drivers think it's ok to deliberately ignore red lights??? On my journey, of around two miles, I counted no less than eight motorists jumping red lights, shame there's no cameras on those particular junctions! Stupid, dangerous, inconsiderate and unlawful use of the road!
