You need to go on the Eilat Forum and post the question.

Google Taxi in Eilat for the options. Local currency will be a pain for one day but might be the safe option unless Euros or Dollars are accepted at tourist sites.
Best of luck

Thank you for the response.
I've tried getting information from Trip Advisor, nothing specific on there.
We're on a cruise ship and have a full day there so just want to get from the port to a marine reserve for snorkeling.
With Uber you can pay by card which is better than having to carry currency, although having said that we will need to buy some but don't want to buy more than necessary.
Just needed to know if Uber or Gett taxi is working successfully there before we go, not wanting to waste time.

Try the trip advisor forum for Eilat.

I guess you’re traveling independently rather than with a tour group, when I do that I book a transfer to my hotel, then I have a chance to find out what the system is. On a couple of occasions Uber has not worked when I needed it and I have taken a street taxi.

I understand Uber taxi service is now in Israel, as anyone used it?

I've tried to calculate the costs on their price estimator but for some reason it doesn't recognize the pick and destination points, one being the Port of Eilat.

I also understand there is Gett Taxi another service being used.

Any suggestion would be welcome we leave England next week
