I tend to be a bit impetuous and during a recent car journey booked a few days in a hotel in Tenby. DH was driving and not really engaged in what I was doing even though I told him. Anyway hotel looked lovely near the sea front etc. but I didn't read the reviews until after I'd booked it. You know what's coming next don't you? Yes, the reviews were awful mostly saying the place wasn't very clean although some said it was fine. I don't know what to think now. DH doesn't want to go now understandably, but being the eternal optimist I tend to think with the Covid rules now surely everything must be spotless. The most recent of these reviews were written 8 months ago. To compromise, on arrival I'm going to ask to see the room first before we agree to stay in light of the bad reviews. Do you think that would be ok?
