If anyone here lives in or very close to the city centre could they tell me why it is so impossible to get to? I wanted to take my beloved sewing machine to Tully's and the Santa’s took me to the car park exit. And it rained. Heavily. Cats and dogs.

Sunderland is a nightmare. I detest driving around the roads anywhere near.

I find "what3words" better than a satnav, particularly for navigating around somewhere I don't know very well.

I've started directing delivery people to houses they can't find using what3words.

I haven't been there recently but Sunderland is on the Metro line from Newcastle, Gateshead etc.

I was carrying or rather dh was a very heavy sewing machine. @minimoon thank you I’ve just downloaded the app. It’s brilliant.
