jenni123 what about a dream one? I couls fancy Costa Rica, where you can go riding on Atlantic and Pacific beaches. Never going to happen, though.

Would love to go back to Doolin in Ireland. Small coastal village with 5 pubs playing music. Lovely campsite, fantastic coastal views across to Aran. Amazing coastal horseriding. Not to mention the nearby town of Lisdoonvarna, with it's matchmaking festival, as commemorated by Christie Moore.

Yep, Alioop, done Northern Lights. Worth every penny and seem to recollect it wasn't all that expensive.

My dream is to go and see the Northern Lights in Norway. After all this I'm going to save up and try to go at some stage. Just bought a lottery ticket for Saturday night in hope, yeah right, no hope.

I'll happily stop home if only the weather was brighter. I just want to see some sunshine.

Holkham Beach - I walk there every late summer, and the mind's eye pictures of the of sea, sand and sky see me through the winter. For me that beach walk represents total peace, calm, and the closeness to nature is inspirational. I missed it last year - it will be the first place I rush to when I can.

S6857', if your mode of travel is flying have you ever used Bezier airport? I stumbled across it quite by chance and have never looked back.

Tour of Italy in 1966 with my sister. Would love to be a time traveler. We both thought it was the best holiday ever.

My husband and I holidayed there frequently when our children were small and it was absolutely wonderful!❤️ I have a degree in French and Spanish from way back in 1978, and being in France provided me with the perfect opportunity to brush up on my French speaking skills!
If money were no object, I would buy a house there and live in it for about 6 months of the year, thereby avoiding the Scottish winter! Alas, only in my dreams! ?

As much as there are so many lovely places I’d like to visit, am I the only person who has found this pandemic has made me realise how much I love my home and local surroundings? My DH and I have been self isolating since last March, only going out to walk the dog locally. We both have not seen any of our AC or GC in person since then and long to see and hug them. However, we have rediscovered our love of our home, large garden and the surrounding local area and feel there is nowhere else we’d rather be. Although, a brief change of scenery would be quite a welcome interlude!

I went to Brazil with my daughter 3 years ago and we had a fabulous holiday arranged by a Brazilian firm. I never usually go back to the same place a second time but would go to Brazil a hundred times. My father was Brazilian and I just love the place and so did my daughter.

Lucky people who can afford holidays. Don't know when I last had one. Probably over 20 years ago

Back to my music festivals and a bit further down the road, just maybe, another cruise

I'd love to go to New Zealand but just a dream.
Happy if I could visit my favourite place in Majorca eventually, but must admit that my travel confidence has gone.

Me? So many places - after seeing the GCs etc.

I wish I could think of a dream holiday. Prior to lockdown I was planning a trip to North Carolina to visit my lovely American friend. Let’s hope I can do this in 2022.

Once reunited with the family in America I really would like to explore New Zealand. I’ve yet to meet anyone who says a bad word about it , so before it’s too late Auckland, here I come!

A water bungalow in the Maldives for me. We've been 3 times and am sad that I'm unlikely to go again.

We need to visit mi Casa in Andalusia as soon as restrictions are lifted and will probably stay for a couple of months, catching up with friends etc.

I’d pop to kefalonia as well Jane as we lived there for 18 months and I still visit a couple of friends there, every couple of years, and missed 2020 due to COVID.

I'd be happy just to get o hatfield Forest for a wander amongst the trees.

Venice for me. It's fascinating. Yes it's ridiculously expensive and crowded in parts but if you move into the side roads, you can find places with reasonable food and drink.
To see the post being delivered by boat, fire 'engines' and police on boats, customers on the sides of the canals buying fresh produce from boats is fascinating also.
Going to the back of St Mark's Square at night where the orchestras strike up and people dance is wonderful.
