Effects on National parks due to lockdown

Having lived near a National Park as a child we always avoided the honey spots in the summer and especially holiday times.
What can be done to help the over run services in these areas when Staycation is for most of us this year our holiday?
Only last week emergency services could not get to a major incident in the Lake District because of poorly parked cars.
Yesterday some residents of Keswick were calling for larger car parks as the town and its environs were in gridlock.
This must be happening in all the other areas of the country where there are national parks or beauty spots.
We all want to enjoy ourselves and the great outdoors.
How do we deal with the ever-increasing number and of larger vehicles some with multiply bikes and canoes attached?
Also, the amount of litter left which some poor volunteers go and pick up, which I have on good authority can include needles and excrement!

Looking at much further south and west - the roads in Devon and Cornwall are delightful small country roads but of course very busy during holiday times - I imagine that area too will have more visitors this year - perhaps people will go to their destination and not do so much driving around in between places.
