Hello my friends, my favourite holiday destination was Japan many years ago where my late husband and I went skiing off the mainland to Okido followed by a few days in Kyoto.we befriended a couple of Japanese Ken and Maysayo who hired a car to take us out and about we had great fun

I feel blessed to have been to many places both at home and abroad most have been wonderful in their own unique way, but the pinnacle of where I wanted to go the most was South America, I absolutely loved Buenos Aires and the Iguazu Falls on the Argentine/Brazil border.

The Iguazu Falls are number one on my wish list. How did you travel there please?

Hi Pandapatch, we flew from Buenos Aires to Iguazu on an internal Aerolinas Argentina flight, about an hour, if my memory serves me well, it was nearly 10 years ago now. Argentina has its problems and we learned that internal flights were subject to many cancellations, but we were lucky that didn't happen to us. Iguazu Falls are amazing, so extensive straddling the borders between three countries Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil.I hope you get there Pandapatch.

Another plus for West Wales. We lived there for a while and it started a love affair with the area that lasted many years.

Santa Eulalia in Ibiza, a quiet little town. I really love it there..😎

Had 3 holidays there and loved it. The first time we went our hotel was rather out on its own but we went a few years later and it was surrounded by other hotels and businesses.

We go self catering in an apartment and haven’t been for four years but I’m going early September so hopefully it hasn’t changed too much 😎

We have been here many times an agree it's a super place! smile

Vancouver Island, a beautiful place but mainly for the many times we visited and spent time with my sister-in-law and her husband and my DH’s two aunts and their families.

Cornwall - in the winter! Also Yorkshire any time.
I like cities and am a fan of Venice and Istanbul.

JackyB one of my favourite places which we came across by chance on a road trip was Eguisheim. We found a place to stay in the middle of the village and went no further. Just pottered round the area. Always promised myself a return. I will one day.
You live in a beautiful part of the world.

Anywhere in the Arctic closely followed by Scotland and anywhere in Spain that’s not Brit-rich! And really any wilderness far from the madding crowd.

Corfu is my favourite. I Love everything about that beautiful island. Many happy memories & good friends made there.

had many lovely holidays in Corfu but we went last year and although the hotel was fine we felt the island itself was quite rundown and neglected. Parts of it were real eyesores with semi derelict buildings, overflowing skips, trailing wires and just a bit of a sad air about it.
