Hotel in Paris

I am looking for hotel recommendations please, a stones throw from Gare de Lyon in Paris just for an overnight stop before continuing our rail trip. We haven’t done this journey since before the pandemic and are shocked at how the hotel prices have risen! We don’t need luxury but would prefer it to be comfortable so a three star maybe…. Thank you!

Mercure or Novotel are pretty good in France for short stay over.

The Quinta Jardin do Lago in Madeira is wonderful btw. Not v handy for Paris of course 😂

Neither is The Lotte Palace in New York - a bit too far for a stopover!
