What to do in Vienna?

Go the opera it is a wonderful atmosphere and I loved the way the audience clap in unison . There are two different opra houses to choose from.

I recommend a trip to Schönbrunn Palace and to Mayerling in the Vienna woods. That was the hunting lodge where Crown Prince Rudolph killed his mistress and himself in a suicide pact. A great romantic story to read up on.

I am a great lover of museums. The Art History Museum is also worth a visit as is the sunday antiques market.

Another nice thing to do is to ride one of the trams full circuit around the Ring. You see some interesting parts of the city.
