Valletta to Gozo day trip

A quick question, please, for those who are familiar with Malta. We’ve arrived today and OH is struggling to find a ferry or bus journey to Gozo, where I really would like to visit, as so many of you have recommended it. Any suggestions, please? Thank you.

The ferry does not go from Valletta. Catch a bus to Cirkewwa - this takes you to the ferry terminus. We have done the trip many times. Ask if any further things needed.

The high speed ferry goes from Valletta, we used it in May and it takes about 45 minutes.

We went on an organised day trip.
We had transport and saw all the sights, plus a meal.
I think we organised it through the concierge at our hotel.

We were staying in Sliema and we did a full day trip from there by boat which included Gozo. I don't remember lunch being provided but we were taken on a tour in a vintage bus and there was an opportunity for swimming.

Actually, we’re doing the trip from Valletta to Gozo tomorrow foxie48, on the high speed ferry, having made enquiries today when we did the trip to Birgu on a gondola. Really looking forward to it.
