Hi everyone! I’m planning a trip to London soon and looking to hire a mobility scooter to make exploring easier. Ideally, I’d like something portable and comfortable for a full day out. Does anyone have recommendations for a reliable hire service, especially one that delivers to hotels and airports? I’d really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

You could try the Red Cross. They used to hire and deliver wheelchairs.

Sorry - ask the hotel. They may already have a company that can help.

Check out cruise company sites for hire company names. Always lots of scooter hires on cruises, could give you a starting point.

We recently hired a mobility scooter in London for my dad, and it made such a difference! The whole process was super easy—they delivered it straight to our hotel and pickup was just as simple. The scooter was lightweight, easy to fold and perfect for getting around the city, whether in taxis or on public transport.

We used this service: adaptahome.co.uk/mobility-equipment-hire/ — they deliver to hotels, homes and even airports. Definitely worth checking out. Hope you have a great trip!
