Weymouth. Highlights of the holiday were having the youngest member of our party disappear though the back door of the van we were travelling in just outside Bath, ( all the children were sitting on cushions!), sliding down the stairs on trays at the guest house, nearly being drowned on Chesil beach and having awful sunburn on my shoulders. We had a wonderful time!
Northern Ireland which was a big adventure because we had to get there on a Ferry crossing from Liverpool. It might have become even more memorable as my mum was wearing a brooch with a photo of our late Queen ! Fortunately she was advised to remove it before we reached dry land.
