My daughter travelled alone through China fir a month or so recently and had a wonderful time. Don’t think it was terribly expensive and if you are on a tour most will probably be paid for in advance.

We’ve recently booked a 17 day tour from Shanghai to Beijing and would like to know if anyone else has done something similar? Is eating and drinking out cheap or expensive? I’m thinking of lunch and dinner, a cup of coffee, a glass of wine and beer.
