I see this has started again! I must admit to love watching the audition programmes to see the truly awful people who are on it. Such Fun!! I record it and then whizz through the boring bits. Once they go to boot camp and the live shows, I'm not longer interested and don't watch. Am I alone in this guilty pleasure? blush

Wrong again with prediction this year better luck next time, but I was surprised how good Little Mix where in this last show they seemed to pull everything together nicely.

numberplease Sun 11-Dec-11 01:27:52

Well, going off all their first songs, nobody impressed me at all. But I did like Marcus`s duet with Gary, and Amelia`s with Kelly. I`m pleased that Marcus is through to tomorrow night, I wasn`t bothered out of the other two.

supernana Mon 05-Dec-11 13:29:42

Marcus for me - he has a good voice, a pleasant manner, an engaging smile and I'd love to cuddle him grin

glassortwo Sun 04-Dec-11 22:40:12

Was it just me or my TV, but did few of the acts hit a few wrong notes tonight.

Notsogrand Sun 04-Dec-11 21:59:37

I'd like Marcus to win too number.

numberplease Sun 04-Dec-11 21:30:18

Thank goodness! At last, Misha B has gone. I`d like either Marcus or Little Mix to win next week, with my main hopes being on Marcus.

numberplease Sun 27-Nov-11 22:35:21

Despite the fact that I can`t abide Misha B, and can`t wait to see the back of her, I think the right person went tonight.

glammanana Sun 27-Nov-11 14:42:20

Well what I thought about Janet last week went down the pan !!! she was so nervous this week and may loose her place in tonights results,Marcus or Amelia Lily look good for the final.

em Sun 27-Nov-11 10:35:37

I'm really bored now with Janet but think her quirky speaking voice is quite attractive. Anyone else think she's the voiceover on the new Car Warehouse ad?
At least I recognised quite a few of the songs yesterday. There have been weeks where I don't know a single one!

numberplease Sun 27-Nov-11 01:27:33

Well, the only two performances I liked tonight were Amelia Lily`s rendering of China in my Hand, and Marcus`s second song, the Stevie Wonder one. Nothing else did anything for me, I`m afraid. Janet was terrible. A rather mediocre week, all in all.

glammanana Sun 20-Nov-11 22:40:34

number so many good songs he could have chosen and he goes and made a mess of that one, I think maybe Janet may come into her own and pull back some votes if she keeps to the style she is good at.

numberplease Sun 20-Nov-11 21:35:58

At least one of the 3 I didn`t like has gone. Craig absolutely murdered that lovely song that I remember fondly from my teenage years.

numberplease Sat 19-Nov-11 23:25:04

My best 3 tonight, in order, Marcus, Janet and Little Mix. Out of the other 3, I don`t mind which are the last 2.

supernana Tue 15-Nov-11 15:37:47

harrigran I owe you an apology. I failed to note that your question regarding an "eating matter" was not addressed to we GN but to an expert. Do hope that all will be resolved. smile

MercyLily Mon 14-Nov-11 19:52:46

X factor just dosen't have the appeal that it has had in previous years, for me at least. It may be because S C is missing or that the format is getting boring. I think that one of the boys will win. Wasn't Lady GaGa gaga last night?!!!

harrigran Mon 14-Nov-11 14:37:25

There is something odd about Amelia Lily, she seems much older than her years and appears to have been performing for years. Had cosmetic dentistry too.

supernana Mon 14-Nov-11 13:53:30

I thought that Kitty was far too "in yer face" and Misha B, in spite of having a good voice, leaves me cold. Marcus and Janet are my top favourites. Both seem well-balanced individuals. I still miss Simon and, I do get awfully irritated by the argy-bargy sniping between the judges. Ah well...it is only a programme and I do have a choice - to watch, or not!

nannym Mon 14-Nov-11 06:49:59

It's becoming quite clear that Misha B isn't popular with the public, no matter how hard the judges try to praise her. Could it be something to do with the ridiculous hair styles?!! The girl has a good voice, but it seems to me that the new "humble, grateful Misha" just doesn't ring true. It's Marcus for me, with Janet as runner up please.

numberplease Sun 13-Nov-11 21:57:59

I don`t like either of the 2 in the bottom 2 tonight, so wasn`t bothered who went, but am quite pleased to see the back of Kitty.

Hattie64 Sun 13-Nov-11 19:32:12

Definately a toy boy, I really would love one as well.

numberplease Sun 13-Nov-11 00:41:45

Oooh Glammanana, the way the show`s going lately, I think the toy boy would be a great alternative!

glammanana Sun 13-Nov-11 00:23:02

I fancied Jonjo back, I am not impressed at all am thinking of finding something to watch on Sarurday night or get myself a toy-boy wink

numberplease Sun 13-Nov-11 00:19:12

Marcus was the best for me tonight, but nobody really stood out. Still don`t like Amelia Lily, I was hoping to see Jonjo back.

glammanana Thu 10-Nov-11 09:09:26

Another money spinning excercise by the organisers.

shysal Thu 10-Nov-11 09:01:59

It has been announced this morning that the four acts eliminated by the judges in the first live show will be given a chance to be voted back by the public. The one with the most votes will join the remaining contestants on Saturday.
What a shame this choice does not include those voted off by viewers in the subsequent shows, like Johnny. I suppose it means that they will not have to refund any phone money.
