I have recorded it to watch later but it does make us howl with laughter. I cant believe servant master relationships were like that. Beautiful frocks though.

I just love Downton Abbey. Last Christmas we were bored and bought the first deries on DVD which we sat and watched all day. Bliss!

I like the Bates character and look forward to following his story line, hope it turns out well in the end.

Am I ialone in thinking that Brendan Coyle (Bates the valet) is one of the best reasons for watching this programme?

Just seen first episode of new series. Poor Lord Grantham, apart from his other disappointments, his mess kit was an embarrassingly awful fit!

In Scotland we did not get the original series when it was shown in England. It has been shown here over the last 5/6 weeks with the final episode of series 1 this afternoon and the first episode of series 2 at 9.00PM. So! a surfeit of riches today! Best thing on the box at the moment.

Downtown Abbey is back, Sunday evening is complete again.
Anyone else pleased to see this series back?
