Yes, CQSW (Home Office sponsored for probation students). That was superceded by the Dip SW, then the Probation Studies degree, and now it is coming back to in-house traing with distance learning degrees. Nowadays, if you mention being social work trained in probation, you get a stern look which means ' we do control and correction, not social work.' All b******s, of course, if you have any compassion for people!
