If this thread is all about the television series with the Victor Meldrew actor and the boy with the sticking out ears, are you aware that it is coming to an end at Christmas? I just noticed this on a news page when I was looking for something completely different and thought of you jO5. No further series will be made. If it's something else all together different, ignore me and I apologise for causing alarm.

jO5 Tue 06-Nov-12 19:16:55

That last bit wasn't supposed to be a link.

I'm not very good at running this fan club.

"It’s a huge episode for Gwen and Morgana, who has never been creepier. Merlin uses his magic a lot. In fact, there’s an awful lot of magic all around, including a quite extraordinary enchantment-aided fight scene.”

“How’s the bromance going?”

“Ah, there are plenty great moments of mutual respect between young Merlin and Arthur.”

“The Dark Tower” airs on BBC 1 on Saturday 10 November at 8.05pm magic aplenty

jO5 Mon 05-Nov-12 19:55:42

Yes, well. Her magic is bad isn't it? Morgana.

Though in the first series she was a right little goodie-goodie. hmm (think she must have got enchanted somewhere along the way grin)

Smoluski Mon 05-Nov-12 19:46:45

Would love to see marlin wrestling with himself ...he has got better looking as he has got older ....grin

petallus Mon 05-Nov-12 19:42:33

Oh I see!

I could see he was wrestling with himself.

He is good, I agree, but what about ...oh dear the name's gone...you know who I mean.....her who scowls all the time and mistreats baby dragons.

jO5 Mon 05-Nov-12 19:29:31

He said it, and was crying, because it means there is no place for him to be fully himself, in Camelot.

And he's getting jealous of Arthur's new found fondness for Mordred.

Merlin's magic is good magic.

petallus Mon 05-Nov-12 19:22:37

It's Arthur's facial expressions that make him so fascinating.

j05 I wasn't sure why Merlin said that. Assume it was because he thought Mordrid had to die to save Arthur and by getting Arthur to refuse the request by the thingies that is what would happen.

But of course his plan backfired.

Incidentally, I'm not sure there is a place in Camelot for magic. Those people 'with magic' do seem to be pretty evil.

So a good time was had by all . smile
