...the only thing I did think about last night was the fact that, even the first series of the Killing led one up a lot of garden paths, and I think the series is meant to give the viewer several clues they are meant to pick up on each week[I'm a bit too dim to do that myself]. Bit like a televised murder mystery weekend/week or, in this case season. Wonder if the Guardian blog is up and running yet; it'll be interesting to read what they say.

We'll light the fire and a few candles, turn off the phone and, if necessary, ignore the doorbell. I've heard that this is definitely the last of the series, which I think is probably a good idea. I can't see how the quality can continue to be maintained ad infinitum.
