That is good news. Wonderful to hear that such places are takoing account of peoples' needs.

I have a problem with vestibular migraine which is brought on by high contrast images, subtitles and moving vehicles or aerial shots on screen. I need to have thehouse lights on too - but when I do go to the cinema I wear sunglasses and that works a treat - I get some funny looks, but what the heck!

Odeon, Cineworld and Picturehouse cinemas offer some films for people with autism. Details of some of them can be found at: www.dimensions-uk.org/what-we-do/autism-care/autism-friendly-films/

I have just found out that one of our local cinemas have screenings for people with autism. the lights are kept on, the sound lowered and food allowed in auditorium. how fantastic, I just with this had been around when I was working with people with autism.
