The Returned

It's the first series, Flower; I think it was on at the same time as Top of the Lake, which is why I missed it. I bought it to stop myself watching Breaking Bad [I've got 4/5 more series of that to watch].

I thought the acting was amazing [and how beautiful was Simon ]. I've only just realised that he looked like Syd Barrett when he was still with Pink Floyd, [and my biggest crush ever]. When I started watching it I thought it was all about the bus crash so, by the second episode I started to get confused. Annoyingly the phone rang when I was watching episode [I think] 6 and the few seconds that I lost looking for the pause buttom meant that I missed something quite relevant. I almost want to watch it again to look at it in more detail [eg Julie had a poster of 'The Exorcist' in her flat ]. It was inspirational to get Mogwai to do the music as well [I always think it was the use of music that made 'The Killing'].

Thought I had missed Returned 2 - are you working your way through a boxed set Tegan.

Tegan I watched all the series [on Sky] and am waiting for next year for the next series. Nothing so far is explained [but with another series to go, I didn't expect it to be.] It's rather brilliant, isn't it?I don't always want to have a rational explanation [or any other type] sometimes, it's enough that strange things are happening.I like foreign series as well with subtitles, another I like is Borgen, and also Montalbano.

Read the Guardian blog but still don't understand what I've been watching [there is another series planned]. Was a very atmospheric series, though, and I'm glad I watched it [will certainly watch the next series] but rather hoped I would be able to make sense of it.

Wrong answer . You have to watch it now so I can talk about it!! Desperate for the S.O. to finish watching whatever he's watching now so I can watch the rest [don't want to watch it tomorrow when I'm on me own ]...

The series is on my list...keep forgetting to buy it! Perhaps I'll wait until C.......s.
