Dawn French on R4 Today programme

Well - I listened and had my thought for the day - which was: This isn't Dawn's thought at all; it was written by Richard Curtis and she just read it out. And it really was not particularly funny, nor profound. I was disappointed; or did I just get out of bed the wrong side?

Oh is that what I missed? I put my headphones just before the real Thought for the Day came on, and they were all laughing at something. I wish they would get Today prog on i-player more quickly. I don't suppose it's available yet.
