The Farmers Llamas was very funny, think I enjoyed it more than the DGC.

Dickensian is nice, do you mean, jingl? It hasn't finished yet. As you say you need to know your Dickens.
I have been recording them with a view to watching again with grandson. It will be interesting to see how much he takes in, or whether we give up quite quickly. A challenge, although he is better than me at remembering characters from Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings books.

We watched 'How To Train Your Dragon' and not a dgc in sight! Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Dickensian was nice. Although you did have to know your Dickens to completely understand it.

I loved that Judi Dench/Dustin thing when it was first on. I didn't realise it was going to be repeated or I would have taped it to watch again.

Baby pandas were my new year TV highlight. Also I enjoyed the programme about Take That's tour. I wouldn't say I was a fan but their show did look amazing and they all came across as likeable people.

Yes, the Panda prog was good, if a bit "feel good".

I wish they'd talked about why they breed so badly and are so threatened in the wild. It's lovely to see them thriving, but I'm wondering if they'd be extinct if they were left to it.

or even people

Did anyone see the programme about the Pandas? It was fascinating and very moving. I just wish the Chinese could be as caring of other animals as they clearly are of the Pandas!

It was good, but saw it last year. I do wish that they would dig out some films we have not seen instead of the same films year after year. Dr. No again tonight. [yawn]

We saw a large flock of lapwings today too, it's lovely to see their numbers recovering so well. Beautiful birds.

A diversion ... but one other lovely thing, NOT onb TV, was seeing large groups of lapwings flying near the M40 3 days ago- together with 50+ red kites... <3
