I'm listening to Tony Blackburns pick of the pops on radio 2. It's 1969 and there isn't a bad record among them. I think I'd just left school and would have been about 16/17 in 1969. Obviously it's only my opinion. What's your favourite pick of the pops year???????

1964. Alan Freeman then and I would have to give advance notice to the parents that I would require the use of the 'wireless' as it was known.
Later on we got a transistor radio and I was allowed to take it up to my bedroom so the programme wouldn't disturb their Sunday afternoons.
Happy days grin
