And away we go again!

Alea Fri 03-Jun-16 10:03:19

As good a reason for breastfeeding as any, and demand feeding for good measure.

merlotgran Fri 03-Jun-16 09:56:29

How can you brainwash a baby?

Gracesgran Fri 03-Jun-16 09:53:41

So do you think he would be able to take the baby away from the Prison for the day Iam?

Iam64 Fri 03-Jun-16 07:45:43

I can't see why Rob wouldn't be allowed to visit Jack in HMP wherever. Ursula is probably right about problems with a long journey (for Rob,given his health) but as he and Helen are married, Rob has PR and also as we all know, care of Henry so I can't see any reason a request to have regular contact would be refused.
Even if Helen finally begins to talk about his abuse of her and Henry he'd still be given contact. So here we go, how is this going to be dealt with. I can't imagine the prison is in a position to supervise contact in this kind of situation.

Gracesgran Fri 03-Jun-16 00:08:00

I don't think he will go that farsmilebut he certainly sounded as if he was determined to go. Again, to the outside world this would not seem unreasonable. Hopefully, now Helen has bonded with Jack, she will feel the need to protect him and it may make her tell Anna more. Surely Rob would have to see the baby in the prison so vaguely supervised at least. That will not please him. Perhaps someone will hear him trying to brainwash the baby as he has with Henry.

Nelliemoser Thu 02-Jun-16 23:57:25

Rob was talking about going up to see his baby whatever.

I am vaguely hoping as Rob will probably be prevented from seeing the baby, Rob might throw a tantrum and cause a breach of the peace.

Gracesgran Thu 02-Jun-16 23:16:57

Short tenancy?

I have been trying to think what will make Rob's mask slip next. They must surely build this as he will be excused because of the circumstances as the other characters see them at the moment. I do hope he looses the family court as that would make him very angry.

merlotgran Thu 02-Jun-16 22:43:17

But how can Will say Clarrie, Eddie and Joe need to wait for his tenants to move out when just a few episodes ago it was still being decorated following the flood damage? hmm

Gracesgran Thu 02-Jun-16 22:11:07

A little bit of nonsense Character Statistics for May 2016

Gracesgran Thu 02-Jun-16 22:09:31

I don't think so merlot. I suppose they are just trying to make sure everyone is housed but I don't envy Ed and Emma moving back in with Susan. I suppose it does reflect the housing situation though and TA like to do that sort of thing.

merlotgran Thu 02-Jun-16 21:25:20

I thought Ed and Emma were renting Will's house before the flood. confused

Has Will got two houses that he lets?

AyjayF Thu 02-Jun-16 20:17:45

Ambridge is a magic land where there is always a spare house.

Iam64 Thu 02-Jun-16 19:25:13

Oh No! How can Eddie think adding flour to cheap pain can transform it into Farrow and Ball?

Gracesgran Thu 02-Jun-16 13:37:00

There is a piece about Alan Devereux (Sid Perks) here Nonnie

Nonnie1 Thu 02-Jun-16 11:05:42

Sid Perks has died sad

Gracesgran Wed 01-Jun-16 21:50:18

... which I am sure ... wretched Kindle!

Iam64 Wed 01-Jun-16 21:42:12

???

Gracesgran Wed 01-Jun-16 21:28:29

or even "which I am" ...(sorry)

Gracesgran Wed 01-Jun-16 21:26:06

The system sounds as if it could help Pat and Tony get Henry back I am which would help Helen too.

Atqui Wed 01-Jun-16 21:01:57

Thanks for the update Graces gran. ?

Iam64 Wed 01-Jun-16 20:16:10

Yes it could Gracesgran. We haven't heard anything about the sw assessments that should be taking place to help the Judge know more about Henry and his family. Interviews with both parents and with Pat n Tony (it's their application I think to have Henry with them). When interviewed the should talk about the incident at the village fair, the fact Henry was out when great grand visited by arrangement with photos of his brother and Robs behaviour leaving Peggy shaken.
I've found the recent news about sw failings grim and I know sw are struggling with unmanageable workloads,my inexperienced staff etc but none the less, in Ambridge, there ought to be an assessment going on.

Rowantree Wed 01-Jun-16 20:15:49

:-o merlotgran I didn't realise that! Awful!

merlotgran Wed 01-Jun-16 20:09:01

Here's hoping the Archers get their collective act together.

I wish, Iam but they seem incapable of comparing notes.

Rowantree The Bank of Peggy gave Helen and Rob £10K as a wedding present. Rob's been working his way through it ever since.

Gracesgran Wed 01-Jun-16 20:07:09

Could how he reacted to Peggy be brought up in the family court then Iam?

Rowantree Wed 01-Jun-16 20:04:39

I can scarcely bear to listen to any more episodes....horrible man. May his entrails boil in hell.
