The Living and the Dead BBC1 (or iPlayer)

If you have an I pad you can get I player through your App Store. Just download it it's free. Another way is to google I player and down load it that way.

I watched the first episode and quite enjoyed it, but thought it could be a bit samey in other episodes, time will tell.

Saw the trailer and thought it looks promising.

Well, it wasn't bad, but not great either we thought.Will watch some more though as it may improve.

Apologies for the grammar/plurals mix up, it should be adult children and Smart TVs ...

grannylyn neither do I! We have a "Smart" TV bought about 2 years ago and iPlayer, YouTube, Netflix, etc etc is all on there and you simply select it.

However my adult children who do not have a Smart TV, also watch stuff via their gadgets, as I understand it, you have to pick up wi-fi on your TV. My son uses a Chrome stick (I think they cost about £30) (and his phone as a remote ) and my daughter and SIL use a computer with a bigger than usual screen, as their TV. Me? I just turn up and get comfy!

Maybe ask them at the Apple store?

How do you do that Grannyk? Have ipad and TV but no idea?!!!

At last some decent telly on the horizon.
