Forty nearly fifty somethings, trying to be hip and trendy who never really appear to have grown up and matured.

I cant stand the Irish girlfriend who always appears to have a smug look on her face!!!!!

MawBroon Sun 10-Sep-17 08:05:37

Ah well, I enjoyed it!!
Is James Nesbitt's girl meant to be Irish? confused
He is, but I didn't have her down as anything other than English (and presumably Mancunian) confused

travelsafar Sun 10-Sep-17 08:31:49

Lolmaybe i have the accents mixed up!!!

LadyGracie Sun 10-Sep-17 09:57:27

I found it very slow, I hope it improves

ninathenana Sun 10-Sep-17 10:06:16

I'm sure I posted on a thread about this last week, can't find it now confused
I loved the first series, second was not quiet so good. I did enjoy the first of the new series and it can still make me lol.
Time will tell.

Ana Sun 10-Sep-17 10:06:16

I was looking forward to this, but was underwelmed...

Teetime Sun 10-Sep-17 10:47:51

So was I Ana. Loved the previous series but now....... I will probably still watch it as there is very little else on.

glammanana Sun 10-Sep-17 10:53:16

All the hype from trailers and what a let down !!

seacliff Sun 10-Sep-17 11:22:29

I too really enjoyed the series last year. This time I'm not mad so far, especially about Adam. Agree about him trying too hard to be hip/trendy.

The David story line may develop and be fun. I'll watch next week and hope it improves.

Charleygirl Sun 10-Sep-17 11:37:03

I loved the first series, was not enamoured with the last and with the present one the jury is out but I also will probably watch it as there is zilch else for me.

Christinefrance Sun 10-Sep-17 15:39:25

I agree Ana did think it picked up a bit towards the end. I will suspend judgement until I have seen the second episode.

Eloethan Sun 10-Sep-17 16:35:25

Well, I really enjoyed it. I love Cold Feet.

I suppose the first episode was bound to be a bit static, as they had to reintroduce all the characters and show us where they've all got to since we last saw them. I'm still looking forward to the rest.

I did think it was very predictable several times but it still made me laugh. I really like James Nesbitt and Hermione Norris in everything they've acted in.

Grandma2213 Mon 18-Sep-17 03:21:14

A bit too much of James Nesbitt I think. He also looks a bit weird. I know he's had hair but has he done something else to himself. I like John Thomson and Fay Ripley who often make me laugh!

Christinefrance Mon 18-Sep-17 06:49:18

Still not enthusiastic about this series, I watched it but think maybe it's time to say goodbye

grannyticktock Tue 19-Sep-17 22:24:44

Has Hermione Norris had a facelift or something? She looks a bit strange.

Nannykay Tue 19-Sep-17 22:44:00

I always loved cole feet, got them all on DVD and rewatch regularly, but this series is a flop IMHO. Adam is just painful to watch, always thought he was gods gift , he just can't cut it any more, he's gone from a always hopeful, to a dirty old man!.

Eloethan Tue 19-Sep-17 23:29:33

I must admit Adam is very annoying (and does look peculiar), but I do like the other characters.

seacliff Wed 20-Sep-17 07:10:43

Nannykay, I agree about Adam.
